Meet Derek
Derek Scarborough is CEO, CTO and founder of VIKIE, Inc. Derek's
experience stems from a myriad of technical disciplines and over
20 years of consulting (30 years including youthful electronic
endeavors). Derek's skillset in computer engineering includes software,
network, circuit design, embedded, database, and security engineering.
Derek's vast technological skillset and his desire to ever-remain a
"hacking-guru" leads to great insight in any and all technological

Derek's noteworthy accomplishments are ALWAYS the problem (or developed solution)
he is currently working on; regardless of how big or small the project. That being said, the VIKIE system is Derek's
most noteworthy accomplishment to date. As co-inventor of the VIKIE system, Derek put a
lot of effort into getting VIKIE to its current patent-pending status.
Another noteworthy accomplishment is Derek's current volunteer work wherein he is currently developing a database for
kidsandcars.org to assist them in their important misison to spread awareness
for child safety in/around vehicles. Also, Derek is extremely excited in
another current endeavor that may supersede VIKIE and assisting kidsandcars.org
accomplishments as early as Spring 2016. Derek in tandem with Anthony
will be developing and hosting various Engineering Seminars for youth.
